Gabrielle is a Certified General Accountant and the founding partner with Loren, Nancke & Company. She earned her designation in 1989 after completing her experience requirements working with CRA. Her experience there included 4 years in the audit division and 4 years in collections. While working in the audit division Gabrielle was fortunate to be assigned to audit a variety of small businesses, estates, trusts and charities. This experience has been invaluable to clients and staff. However, her greatest contribution to clients is her first hand experience at growing her own small business including all the trials and tribulations associated with taking a business from nothing to something!
Gabrielle was profiled in the February 1999 issue of BC Woman Magazine, on the cover of the February 2006 issue of the North Shore Magazine and she has provided advice on tax tips to News 1130 and City TV. In 2009 and 2010 she was interviewed extensively by CBC Radio and Television for her opinion on the issues surrounding the HST. Her volunteer activities include serving as the current president for the West Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, and she has been the president for SWAN, a women’s networking group, and served as the secretary and treasurer for the Collingwood School Parents Council. Gabrielle continuously leads seminars that focus on small business growth and development, and tax and accounting issues. Several of these have received mention in the National Post and the Vancouver Sun.
